SPOKANE SLAVIC BAPTIST CHURCH

HELP FOR UKRAINE

Dear friends,

As you all hear, see, and know, the war in Ukraine brought grief, tears, destruction, pain and death. Here in United States, we are Blessed by God that in our country we have peace and prosperity. However, our conscience does not allow us to stay on the sidelines while people in Ukraine suffer. If your heart desires, please join us in our efforts to help our brothers and sisters in Ukraine. We are grateful for your financial contributions, prayers, and support.

What has already been done and what are the plans?!

A special fund has been created at the SBC church “On The Hill”. We have been in contact with local churches in Kyiv, Vinnitsa, Zaporozhye, and Donbass. We have also begun sending aid to Moldova and Poland, the neighboring countries, to assist locals as they open their hearts and homes to help tens of thousands of refugees that flee from Ukraine every day.

Your donations will serve to aid with acquisition of food, medicine, and sleeping supplies such as pillows and blankets. They will also help refugees cross the border and settle into a new place.

At the moment, the scope of this fund does not include repairs of local homes or transports.

Please join us in helping the Ukrainian people!

God bless you!

News from our team that flew from America to Ukraine

March 11, 2022

Our team arrived in Krakow, Poland on March 10.
First day was spent purchasing transportation and all the supplies (food, clothes, diapers, mattresses, bedding…etc) to be delivered to Ukraine.
We have two vans that will be heading out to the Ukrainian border tomorrow.
We are grateful for all the donations and want to assure you, every single $ went to help those refugees that are in desperate need right now.
Please keep us in your prayers for safety on the roads, as we head toward the border.
We thank you so much for all your prayers and generous hearts!
